The Toyota Fortuner facelift was launched in India on 6 January, 2021.

Engine and specification:

Dimension-wise, the Toyota Fortuner measures 4,795mm in length, 1,855mm in width, and 1,835mm in height, while the wheelbase is rated at 2,745mm.

The Toyota Fortuner is offered with two powertrain options that include a 2.7-litre petrol engine and a 2.8-litre diesel engine. The former produces 164bhp and 245Nm of torque while the latter produces 201bhp and 420Nm of torque (500Nm with AT). Transmission options include a six-speed manual unit and a six-speed automatic unit.

Exterior design:

On the outside, the Toyota Fortuner features a smaller grille, new LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, tweaked front and rear bumpers, new 18-inch alloy wheels, and revised LED tail lights.

Interior and features:

Inside, the Toyota Fortuner comes equipped with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car technology, a cooled glove-box, drive modes, electrically adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, ventilated front seats, puddle lamps, engine start-stop button, and a wireless charger. The model receives safety features in the form of seven airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a seat-belt reminder system, speed alert system, VSC with brake assist, traction control, and park assist function.

Colours:

The Toyota Fortuner is available in nine colours that include Sparkling Black Crystal Shine, Phantom Brown, Super White, Attitude Black, Avant-Garde Bronze, Grey Metallic, White Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Metallic, and White Pearl Crystal Shine with Black roof. The latter is offered exclusively with the Legender variant.

Seating capacity:

The Toyota Fortuner is available only in a seven-seat configuration.
