Honda WR-V Summary

The WR-V was first showcased in the Indian market in 2017. Honda later updated the car to meet BS6 emission norms in 2020 and it then also came with some added features. This car is available in six exterior paints – Platinum White Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Premium Amber Metallic, and Modern Steel Metallic.

This is a sub-four meter car and has a 188mm ground clearance. The updated WR-V comes with redesigned front and rear. There is a new grille with a chrome bar. It also gets new LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, and LED fog lamps. Besides, the WR-V features body cladding across the lowermost body panels. There are new elements inside the tail lamp unit such as the J-shaped LED taillamps and 16-inch alloy wheels too.

Honda now offers a 2.0 Digipad with a seven-inch infotainment touchscreen unit that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The WR-V has an all-black interior with silver inserts on the steering, around the gearstick, and aircon vents. It also comes with an engine start/stop switch and leather-wrapped steering with audio, phone, and control switches.

The WR-V gets many features such as an electric sunroof, keyless entry, cruise control, a multi-view rear camera, rear parking sensors, dual airbags, and ABS with EBD.

There are two engines available – a 1,199cc four-cylinder SOHC petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and a 1,498cc four-cylinder DOHC diesel paired to a six-speed manual.
