Variants:

The all-new City is available in three primary variants — V, VX, and ZX.

Market introduction:

Honda launched the first-generation City in India in July 2020.

Engine and transmission:

The City gets two powertrains: a 1.5-liter, inline, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 119bhp and 145Nm and a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder diesel motor delivering 98bhp and 200Nm. The former comes mated to either a six-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission, while the latter is paired with only a six-speed manual unit.

Exterior:

The new City is 109mm longer than its predecessor and measures 4,549mm in length. However, it retains the same 2,600mm wheelbase from the previous model. The exterior highlights include nine-array full-LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights and turn signals, fog lamps, a left lane-watch camera, LED rear lights, and 16-inch alloy wheels.

Interior:

The new City comes with a dual-tone interior and leather upholstery for the seats. In addition, Honda offers a semi-digital instrument cluster with a seven-inch circular display, an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen, and Google and Alexa voice assistants.

Features:

The Japanese sedan gets a host of features, such as six airbags, a rearview camera with parking sensors, vehicle stability assist, electronic stability control, traction control, hill start assist, TPMS, auto-dimming IRVM, auto headlamps, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto connectivity, ambient lighting, and paddle shifters.

Colors:

It is available in five paint options.

Seating capacity:

The City can accommodate five passengers, including the driver.

Rivals:

The City competes against the likes of Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus, and Hyundai Verna.

Honda All New City price starts at ₹ 11.48 Lakh and goes up to ₹ 15.43 Lakh (Avg. ex-showroom). All New City comes in 9 variants. All-New City’s top model price in petrol is ₹ 15.23 Lakh. All New City base model price in diesel is ₹ 13.08 Lakh. Whereas the price of the All-New City automatic version starts from ₹ 12.88 Lakh.
